My Story
Having a degree in Psychology and Criminology, I've always had an interest in people and behaviour and although already running two successful businesses, I joined the Maia team in August 2021 as a rehab assistant. Initially I worked a client with an acquired brain injury, however more recently I have progressed within the company and now support the Care Manager, Louise, as Care Coordinator. I also support multiple clients working as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
I have extensive knowledge of working with clients with physical disabilities, brain injuries, amputees and vulnerable adults. I also have experience assessing residential and care packages and identifying safeguarding issues which supports my role within the Care team.
People would say that I am a gentle person with an ability to develop good relationships with clients, families and teams alike. I am a very keen runner and dog lover.
I am based in Bedfordshire so if you are ever in the area, you have a high chance of seeing me either running or walking my dog! I currently cover the Midlands, East Anglia and Home Counties.
