My Story

I would describe myself ambitious registered Nurse and Case Manager with 13 years post degree experience. I always strive to improve and develop my skills through further education, evidence- based practice and training. I endeavour to develop these communication skills on a daily basis as I adapt to many different members of the MDT, families, staff and patients.

During covid-19, while working as a charge nurse, I volunteered to work out in the field hospitals to help where I could and grow my experience. I have managed to ongoing care and rehabilitation of clients with complex poly trauma, ventilation and airways management among the many various injuries I have worked around during my time working within ICU’s.

I gained my masters degree at Kings College Hospital where I then developed my skills and experience as a site manager. I have worked in both the public and private sector in Abu Dhabi and the UK. Having been exposed to many varying cultures, I feel well equipped to approach my clients with an understanding and open mind which I utilise to explore ways of supporting their needs that are suited to their culture and expectations. I am strong believer in strengthening the MDT thus enhancing the clients experience and outcomes and enjoy working collaboratively to help them achieve their goals.

I am based in Motherwell and cover the surrounding areas. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter and making the most a quality work life balance.
