My Story
I am a Registered Nurse with over 29 years extensive clinical experience in both acute and primary care settings. I have worked as a Case Manager for both adults and children who have catastrophic injuries, including traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and birth injury for the last 11 years. I am an Advanced Practitioner member of BABCIM, and hold a Specialist Practitioner award in Nursing practice, registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and a member of the Royal College of Nursing. I have qualifications in Critical care and have extensive experience in setting up specialist complex care packages, including those requiring long term ventilation.
I have substantial experience of working with other members of the Multidisciplinary team and coordinating services to ensure the best outcomes for my clients. I have worked with clients requiring housing adaptations and extensive equipment provision on discharge home.
I am able to carry out clinical nursing need assessments for clients who have complex care requirements and provide clinical guidance for support staff.
When I joined Maia, I was pleased to see all of my clients wanted to make the move with me so we can continue our great work together.
I am based in Suffolk and cover East Anglia.
