My Story
Having over twenty years of clinical practise in Occupational Therapy, I have extensive experience of putting together comprehensive care packages. I have a B.Sc (Hons.) degree in Occupational Therapy (OT) and am a member of the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT) and I am registered with the Health Professions Council.
I trained in cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) at the Warneford Hospital in Oxford and developed specialist expertise in this area. I have a special interest in psychological effects associated with trauma and disability and have also studied in depth the influences of personality associated with vocational stress and absence.
Case Management wise, I am a member of Case Management Society UK (CMSUK) and British Association of Brain Injury Case Managers (BABCM). I am also the Clinical Director of Maia Rehabilitation LTD.​ As part of this role, I provide supervision to occupational therapy associates across the UK and supervision for my associate case managers.

I am an experienced Expert Witness and have prepared assessments and comprehensive Medico-Legal reports for personal injury, clinical negligence, family law and workplace disputes, with instructions from both claimant and defence. I have provided evidence for both claimant and defence.

I like country walks especially with my dogs, cycling, photography and all exercise especially yoga. I travel a lot for my role and often find myself eating the wrong food when i'm on the road! When possible, I try try to not take things too too seriously; laughter is a great way for me to relax and wind down.

I am based in Bedford and am happy to travel nationally.
