My Story

I have more that 30 years-experience working for the NHS as a community Speech and Language Therapist, treating adults and children before I decided to move into independent practice. Since 2015, I have also worked as a Case Manager and managed a caseload of both adult and paediatric clients with complex brain injury and spinal injuries.

I am a member of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT), British Association of Brain Injury and Complex Case Management (BABICM), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), and ACPIN.

As an SLT, I gained extensive experience in learning difficulties, autism, development coordination disorder, stammering, language delay, dysphagia, aphasia, and cerebral palsy. Working within a multidisciplinary environment has given me a unique perspective in the interdependence of physical, environmental, cognitive and social factors which need to be reflected in a rehabilitation package.

I am a reliable, proactive, and goal focused Case manager with a diverse client base; my expertise lie within assessing and identifying client needs, providing reports and detailed case notes, leading and liaising with multidisciplinary teams and supporting care teams. I get great satisfaction in improving my client’s quality of life, and ensure they are always at the centre of their rehabilitation journey.

I can speak French, Spanish and Italian, and have managed three clients in Italy, and two Spanish clients in London.

I am based in Hereford and cover the West of England, and some of Wales.
