Chris Smith

I have been delivering Physiotherapy services for children and young people with motor disorders for over 20 years, working in three London teaching hospitals prior to starting an independent therapy service in 2010.  I have been working in and around case management both as a Physiotherapist and as a Case Manager for over 10 years.

I enjoy working closely with families, other Case Managers and statutory services to ensure the highest standard of rehabilitation for my clients.

In 2014, I was awarded the Colchester businessman of the year award and in 2015 Essex inspirational man in business. 

I was elected the inaugural Chair of the APCP private practice group as well as chairing and publishing an APCP document on collaborative working. I also served as the APCP Public Relations Officer for 2 years. As well as this, I also lectures at a number of UK universities as well providing lectures to members of the APCP.

In 2020 during the pandemic, I set up and supported a multidisciplinary therapy service at a London based children’s Charity as Director of clinical services, so have varied experience across, statutory, independent and charity sectors.

I am based in the East and currently work in East London, Suffolk, Kent and surrounding areas.
