Shani Spriklejohn

My Story

I have an extensive background within Mental Health and support work working for over six years in New Zealand both within community Mental Health teams and the In-Patient wards. I returned to the UK in 2021 and shortly after joined the Maia team as a Rehab Assistant working alongside multiple client with brain injuries. When the role of Assistant Case Manager became available, I jumped at the chance to develop my skills and knowledge within rehabilitation and have been here ever since!

I have recently been accepted into Northampton university to study Occupational Therapy and to support my career development, I am also undertaking some OTA work to build on my skill base.

I love being creative and have taken on the role of producing the monthly newsletter for Maia. At home, I enjoy developing my DIY skills through renovating my home and generally being outdoors walking, running and camping with my family and friends.

I am based in Norfolk and cover East Anglia and the Midlands.
