Louise is our CQC Registered Care Manager. She is responsible for ensuring we meet the fundamental standards and key lines of enquiry to a high standard. She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 2001 and since then has worked for the NHS starting off her career as a staff nurse in trauma and orthopaedics and then moving on to become a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pain management. Louise has completed courses at master’s level in pain management, medical law, and substance misuse. She is a member of CMSUK, the NMC and the RCN.
After leaving the NHS Louise worked in a neurological rehabilitation centre and managed a nursing home before joining us.
Louise also has experience of case management as she also supports her own clients . She manages all our Rehabilitation Assistants; quality assures our client reports and regulates our administration compliance. Her experience and knowledge dovetails nicely in with the case management role making her an excellent interface for our care and rehabilitation
Louise is also a case manager and draws on her management experience to oversee the best rehabilitation of her clients and understands the attention to detail required to manage complex cases whilst also providing friendly and professional support to the families. Louise is a registered manager with CQC and understands the legal and ethical guidelines essential for best practice of care with her clients.
Louise enjoys spending time with her family, trying desperately to keep fit with aqua aerobics and walking her 2 dogs! She is a foundation school governor at a local primary school and supports children at her parish church on Sunday mornings, she also loves fundraising to help others.
