My Story
I am our CQC Registered Care Manager and am responsible for ensuring we meet the fundamental standards of care as set by the CQC. I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 2001 and then started to work with the NHS as a staff nurse in trauma and orthopaedics, then moving on to become a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Pain management. I have completed courses at master’s level in pain management, medical law, and substance misuse and am a member of CMSUK, the NMC and the RCN.

After leaving the NHS I worked in a neurological rehabilitation centre and managed a nursing home before joining Maia Rehabilitation.
As Care Manager, I oversee all of our Rehabilitation Assistants; quality assures our client reports and regulates our administration compliance.
Alongside being the Care Manager, I also work as a Case Manager supporting multiple clients with complex needs. Here I draw on my management experience to oversee the best rehabilitation of my clients understanding the attention to detail required to manage complex cases, whilst also providing friendly and professional support to the families.

I enjoy spending time with my family and i'm trying desperately to keep fit with aqua aerobics and walking my 2 dogs! I am a foundation school governor at a local primary school and I support children at my parish church on Sunday mornings. Helping others is my passion and I often fundraise in able to do this.

I am based in Northamptonshire and currently cover the Midlands, East Anglia, London and the Southeast.
